Madriin SMS for Android
Turns a school phone into the SMS sender for Madriin.
Download
Download the app (.apk)Install in 4 steps
- Download the file on the phone that will send the messages.
- Open it. If Android says it is blocked, tap Settings and allow installing from your browser or Files app, then go back and tap Install.
- If Google Play Protect warns about an unrecognised developer, tap More details, then Install anyway. The app is not on the Play Store; it is signed by Madriin.
- Open Madriin SMS and pair it with Madriin: scan the QR code shown in Madriin, or log in with your Madriin account.
For the administrator (once per phone)
- Keep the phone plugged in, with a SIM that has SMS airtime and internet.
- In the phone's battery settings, set Madriin SMS to Unrestricted or No restrictions so Android does not stop it.
- To lift Android's own limit on messages sent in a short time, connect the phone to a computer with USB debugging on and run this once:
adb shell pm grant com.madriin.smsgateway android.permission.WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS
